Since my husband’s heart attack several years ago, his cardiologist recommended that he follow a vegan diet. I’ve been concerned that we include sufficient plant based protein. It seemed that we were consuming excess carbs with this plant based regimen. I’m also worried about eating too many calories from nuts and seeds.
