Stress and expression can be linked to communication – or rather a lack of it. In this part of the course we look at how cultural expectations around communication can lead to negative emotions and the inability to express our needs. We’ll also look at some way to break this cycle so that we can vocalize our needs and reach out to others, and at how therapy can be made more of a mutual conversation to alleviate depression.
