Making Requests and the Need Behind the No Process

Communication is often about expressing and recognizing needs. Often we can approach the relation of needs as an unequal power struggle, but needs are more likely to be met if requests are made with understanding and a willingness to contribute to the fulfillment of another’s needs as well as you own. This part of the course explains how to approach requests in the spirit of connection.
